All of your crafting videos are so amazing and helpful! You make it seem much less daunting to start projects!

Impressively simple and awesome as ever, Karen! I am not a crafty person even a little bit, yet I have still watched all of your craft videos. You're really great at keeping the videos going, no dragging to be seen anywhere! You've just got a great way of presenting them

This is great because I can't find where to buy magazine holders that are fair trade and not plastic. DIY is ticking all my boxes plus you talk to the camera like you're talking to a friend and I feel so welcome! You're the best.

Wow, late to the show... But I've binged your puzzle channel lately and just randomly wanted to make magazine holders - and there you were! The world is small, haha

I'm definitely going to try this for my comics! Maybe even take some "bad" comics and cut them up for the sides, though I don't know what I would want to spread on them to keep them on and not flaky.

Thank you! I had lots of Duck Tape, lots of boxes, and lots of unorganised 12x12 paper so I adapted the size to 13 inches and made files for the paper. I got into a mess with the hot glue (as usual!) so I joined the pieces with even more Duck Tape, inside and out to reinforce the joins even though I don't plan to move the files. I positioned the files with the small piece at the top, so I can pull the files out the front easier as they are in a cupboard.

This is a super-super trivial question, but I'm interested in visual things so this sticks out to me: Do you color match your clothes with other things in your videos? I noticed in another video your nails were the same color as your shirt and now the folder and your shirt are the same. Just wondering if this was a conscious choice?
@MickieHalpern12 жыл бұрын
I would totally put chalkboard paint on the small front part for labels :)

I'd be concerned with them falling apart if I ever tried to move them/pick them up while full. I use mine to hold my comic books, and a collection of trades get pretty heavy. Hot glue is not the strongest adhesive.

I did this with the free flate rate boxes from the post office (they're the perfect shape) and just put it together and cut off some of it to get that shape. WAY easier than all the cardboard cutting and gluing. My scrapbook paper is coming off though...I think I'll do duct tape next time. Thanks! :)
