Karen well done with the trough. Don’t put yourself down, you learnt from the first one you did with assistance and did a really good job with this one in your own. You really impress me with all the water pipe work you do so easily as every time I do anything with water it generally leaks.

great work Karen, you should get yourself a plastic pipe cutter they are cheap and so easy to use compared to using a saw ,and you don't get saw dust in the pipe which could cause the ballcock to leak .

Just wondering could u put the bin on de back of the 390 and go into the co-op and fill up de bin
@karenmoynihanfarm15 сағат бұрын
They don't do the bulk in my local co-op and I'm too far away from the nearest place that does it. it would probably be an hour each way in the tractor so would defeat the purpose really
@pauljamesfitzmaurice319215 сағат бұрын
@karenmoynihanfarm o right u could try it both ways getting the bags and getting a bulk delivery out to the farm and see which works best for you

U did great work karen on the water troc but i would have mixed a few shovels of cement with the sand then wet it up when levelled out it would set hard and would have prevented it from eroding away but well done

Your cattle are looking well . Your confidence and skills are growing as you tackle more jobs , yes you still rely on dad for support and guidance but you are confident enough to tackle the jobs alone and skilled enough to know when to say "stop before I cause sn issue" . Standing back and taking pride in what you've achieved is always a good thing .

Always a treat to see your video in my YT Mailbox Karen! Glad to hear you won over your dad in putting the bulls out for a bit. We win some and lose some but it all evens out! I do chuckle when you mention your "conversations and discussions" on certain jobs to be done and the best way to go about them. Yes, he obviously has the experience and wisdom but more importantly I'm thrilled he listens to you too and as much as those "talks" might get heated a bit sometimes, it's very cool that he leans on your advice too! Happy Birthday to your Dad! GREAT job on the trough and the plumbing! Hard work indeed and even better knowing you can handle the workload! MOO From Across The Pond In COW-lumbus, Ohio 👋

Happy birthday Dad.......what an achievement Karen. ...mainly on your own. I'm reliving my younger days when I need goats for "Bothar" .they have re grouped again and things are slowly improving. I even had on occasion to deliver kids in difficulty. My tractor was a wheelbarrow🤣

Great work as always Karen Little tip i used to use when drilling large holes on concrete, start with a smaller diameter bit, say 7/8mm then up 10/12mm then go the proper size, the small hole will act as a pilot and lets the dust escape so much faster. Hope it helps for the next big one Kiddo 🤪

Hi Karen, You have done an excellent job there with the placement of the trough and the plumbing. Would you consider mixing some cement and pointing the front of the base that you built for under the water trough. It would make a grand secure job of it for you. The cattle are looking in great order. Be careful not to be tempted to graze too much grass. That grass will be worth a lot more in the spring than it would be now.

Great job well done. You should get yourself a tool for cutting the pipes much cleaner and neater. I never take the black nuts off the plastic fitting I just loosen the nut well and push the pipe in then the washers don't fall to the ground. As I said before you are a good role model
