I worked at Chipotle for 10 years and I have seen my share of Karens and male equivalents but I had a Karen once that asked for me to refund her bowl because she forgot it in her car over night and it went bad, not that any we did was wrong, but she forgot to take it out of her car. I work fast food, I have ran into several Karen's This is my favorite story. This woman came to our fast food drive-thru in a brand new showroom car that wasn't even hers, when giving her her food she flipped her bag upside down and chili spilled all over her. The lady wanted a refund for the car even though she didn't own the car yet. Luckily my district manager was there and was able to shut down that woman's complaint.

Hello. Ex Retail/Grocery store clerk here! (Before Covid) One my personal favorite Karens did something like this. With a block of very "Organic" Cheese. The kind most are expected to be eaten within days. For a party that got canceled two weeks ago. After 15 minutes of arguing over that with her. Trying to get her to understand that not only are you not at the Customer Service Desk. You're not talking to a supervisor of any kind and can't even do refunds. My line is backed up into aisle 4 by three extra people. I call my higher up over. Another 2 teeth pulling minutes. Not even the right store. She got it from StoreA.. Hi I work for StoreB and never have we ever in our 50+ years of service (of my store) accepted other store refunds. Stay classy New York.

At 9:21 with the subway karen, I can relate to that, I work at subway, and one day the debit machine was offline due to the internet being down, and some lady orders two sandwiches, has obviously seen the 3 letters that we had put up on the window, the door, and the glass where you order, and has the nerve to scream at me in front of 10 other customers. Usually when something like this happens, I try to be nice, or the customer calms down, but this one literally throws her money across the counter, and then complains when i told her she was 2.39 short. Hell she even coughed in my face and tossed her sandwich on the floor. I swear, I think that's the scariest Karen I've had to deal with while working there.
