As a special needs individual, when people like that bother me or anyone else about not "looking disabled", I would love to just say "well, you say you're disabled and you don't look it either..." because that was the exact situation in that Karen video. She looked fine but being special needs myself, I never assume I know if someone's actually okay or not and it would obviously be really rude to actually say that to anyone. There are lots of invisible disabilities that still count as disabilities and that needs to be understood and respected by everybody. Somebody may have trouble walking but you're not gonna be able to tell when they're sitting in a car, obviously. They shouldn't have to get out of their own vehicle and prove to you that they have special needs for you to stop being an asshole to them. It's ridiculous.

I agree. My sister doesn’t look disabled. She looks completely healthy but she’s not. About 14 years ago she was sitting at a red light at a 3 way light when a truck ran his red light and the lady with the green light hit the truck. The truck flew into my sisters side of the car. I felt genuinely awful for the nail salon lady especially because of something I did when I was like 8- My mom took me to a nail salon with her and one of the ladies were painting a really pretty cherry blossom branch with a blue background.
