Those skates would be perfect for college campus'. You know how many times when I was at school and I wanted to just have skates to get from place a to b, but also not have the big hassle of having a skateboard or skates. Just carrying around the plates with the trucks and wheels on it would be so much easier.

Hmm good question. Another one would be do they put marks on floors when in shoe mode? And another thing I usually skate in an arched foot boot. Would this change the way I skate?

@@jeremyhaliski1104 yes it feels different! The first few minutes i skate in flat skates i always have to remember to put my weight more on the toes so i don't have the feeling of falling backwards. But i get used to it pretty quickly 😊

I think we seen them all most of them have a good comparison to Jackson ultama. This skate is one of the few I question. Yes I like the fact you can take the wheels off. No I don't like that they are flat foot. I wish they made arched slades. I've skated in an arched boot for three years on ice.

My experience with Slades (had them for 1 year) is that they can be OK for skating here and there, but terrible as normal sneakers. I was so disappointed. I got the same size as you (36-the smallest) and could skate without any problem, but when it came to walking or use them during the rest of the day (example at work, groceries, etc) I would always get blisters everywhere. For one year! Eventually I sold them to someone else. I will definitely invest on some Flaneurz (same company) just because I love the idea of travelling with my skates but they are better shoes.

🤔 ive worn mine more as shoes than skates and never had discomfort or blisters and I wore them to work where I was on my feet running around for 9hours(preschool teacher for 2y/o). The blisters sounds like it may be more of a sizing issue if they’re possibly too big?

I just bought Slades in Size 7. I wear a size 6.5 shoe but with the Slades, they don't offer 6.5 but do half sizes for above 6.5. Anyway because of the additional insert over top of the connecting pieces in the shoe shifts your foot up a bit so now my toes reach the tip of the shoe. Size seven is a little wide for my foot, so I might try half soles in them.
