This has been a difficult couple of years for me with many battles, including contending for my prodigal child. 2022 has started out rough already, but I sensed in my spirit that how this year has started is not how it will end, that I will come in to this year weeping but leave rejoicing. I can't begin to tell you how timely this is. I spent all of yesterday crying and the image in my head was that of me drowning and my last hand out stretched to above the water. About to pull it down toward my heart and let the water win, my cousin called, giving me a similar message. Then in the middle of the night, I searched for a video from you, as if the Lord Himself used you to remind me of this story about the relentless widow. . Reminding me that the Lord Himself wants to be pursued by me to wear Him out with my prayers. Bringing to my memory this account is the one that healed my marriage after 8 years of divorce. It has been a over a decade since my husband died so the dynamics of my family seem extremely fractured. I usually start at v. 26, but God said, no, start at 1. I am so glad I listened! Hi Karen, this is 28 October 2024. I have just recieved this straight from God. Thank you for being the amazing woman of God that you are. I have been a widow of 7 years (My husband was only 54 when he died) I had our business, every car we ever owned, access to our house, any income stolen from me. At 53 years I had to start out new. Getting a job, trying to pay all the debts that loosing the business accumulated including the mortgage payments on my house. It has been a very hard and terrible time. I prayed and begged and pleaded and ranted and cried big old dams of tears. But today I feel the most hope I have ever felt before!! Because of you and this beautiful Front Porch friends platform. Our grown son who was a prodigal had a terrible accident nearly 2 years ago. He's been in the hospital (now a long term acute care hosp)ever since with a severe brain injury in another state from us. I've been trying to get him back to TX for a while now. Everyday, by God's grace I call and video with him, read the Word to him, pray with him, and play worship and praise music to him. He listens but is unable to communicate and Idk what he understands. But I know God is at work. Do I struggle with doubt at times? yes I get tired. But I will never give up. Everyday I tell him he's my prayer partner. In the beg. he was in a coma and on a ventilator. They told me he would always have a trache but I asked God to remove it as it caused suffering. It was removed last May when I was there to visit. He's overcome several life threatening illnesses and injuries. But God has a plan and purpose for Blake. Blake also has a son. I'm so encouraged to not give up in prayer and belief. Thank you. Your faith helps my faith❤

My husband Rick was just recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer. He has a large mass on his liver and lesions on his lungs. He has lost so much weight. Please pray for him. @alice martinez you're not alone. I feel the same. The enemy wants to burden us to the point of silence. I'm standing in a place forced out of a job due to a lying and deceiving supervisor. A real increasingly negative place where a co-worker told me that no on likes me and felt that I should leave. Sitting in my empty home having to place it on the market. If that wasn't/isn't bad enough, I have dealt with betrayal, sister stealing inheritance by lying, all relationships fall away, dealing with neighbors all of sudden angry (I know it's the enemy), and watching saving being depleted due to loss of job. I had a mental health breakdown. There are days where I wonder what's the point and the voices are stronger telling me that I'll never experience anything good. Then on a challenging day, this video comes up. I pray that the Lord will hear and answer the prayers of his people🙏🌻

I left my son, 23, at an inpatient rehab last night after he spent the night in ER from a self inflicted wound after nearly drinking himself to death. I am in a fight for his life and soul against an enemy I can’t physically see, but I see the waste and destruction he has placed in my son’s path. I’ve had enough! I will NOT stop praying and fighting for him. My boy is too precious and too valuable to be forgotten. Your word here has just given me another tool to fight with. I’m building an arsenal and standing on faith. I KNOW my GOD is fighting with me and what has been lost WILL be restored. Justice WILL be served. Hi Karen…I have been watching for a while now… I have always preferred the background because when I was younger the wrong people took my youth for granted..so I have developed an outer shell as protection, but God has called me out to public positions and experiences that require bold declaration and contention. A few years ago, I asked God to heal the stuff inside, I said “Yes, to His Will, and do something new in my marriage/family…Ohhh, the hell we have endured since…Thank you for your transparency and the power that been developed through your journey.. God did not call everyone to war the same and sometimes when you are the only one (seemingly) in your immediate circle, it can get overwhelming… I thank and praise God for being a “Front Porch Friend”!!🤲🏼🙏🏽❤️….Every time I come across one (no matter when it was made) it has been relevant…May God continue to Bless your hand, heart, mind, and spirit as you share for the edifying of His Kingdom..

I think God for using you greatly and I’m standing on God‘s promises for my healing and my friends that are needing healing. And all those need healing and financial miracles and families that need to be saved. Praise God the answers to our every need in our hearts desires I believe are coming to us a stand upon God‘s holy Word they change it not. Miss Karen I am standing I loved your word today and the reminder of the alligator. I have been praying for over 25yrs now for my husband he is a good man. I have also been standing and believing for some other close family members. The Holy Spirit told me my word for this year is restoration, I am believing for the full restoration of my family and I am believing it to be paid back with interest. Side note, I don’t know if you saw this in the video but as you finished prayer Palmer was sitting in the background and it was as if he was listening to every word & agreeing with you.

Thank you for your word each week! I have been encouraged weekly on your front porch" for almost 3 years now! I pray for the fear of man to leave so I can boldy stand and be what God has called me to. I ask for a financial miracle, not because I deserve it...but I need it. I left a job of 27 years and placed it in God's hands...taking that step of faith into the open door God gave me is a bit of a culture shock, is stretching my faith and trust in God as my provider, but my Jesus is worth it, and he will give me the grace to walk out what he has called me to do! See what watching your videos for years has helped me do? Standing on that rock of the Word...declaring his promises and seeing that prayer answered already and resting in that place of victory...even if you're in the eye of the hurricane like I felt I have been in for years...I believe in my Father, he loves me and is my provider, to give me above and beyond what I can ever imagine to ask for!
