I've been battling with suicidal thoughts and severe depression for a long time. I've tried telling my parents,but they don't understand. And when they told me to get over it,i felt even worse then i did before. For years i kept everything to myself and promised myself to NEVER tell anyone about my problems in real life. A couple months back i was listening to Forever (Kari Jobe) and this was in the recommended section. I watched it and when it got to th chorus,i started crying my hear out. I've been struggling with my faith and relationship with God for alone time now. But this song has had such an big impact on my life. Just remember that if you're breathing,God isn't done with you. The enemy comes to steal and kill,but if you're just breathing God is still with you and will deliver you from your pain. And when everyone else has left you and betrayed you or your problems are too "messy",remember God is there. "I'm not alone. You will go before me. You will never leave me." God already knows how your life will play out. He knows you more than anybody (even yourself.). Dont worry about tomorrow. Just even today has enough of it's worries. I may be 14 now,but life can be hard for anyone. And more thing i would like to say/quote. "So when the whole world turns against me and I'm all by myself. And I can't hear You answer my cries for help. I'll remember the suffering Your love put You through. And I will go through the darkness if You want me to."

God has a major purpose for your life and while I will never be able to completely relate, what I do know is that the enemy doesn't waste his time beating up people who are stagnant... satan is attacking you there because you are a threat to him. God has given you tremendous value, worth, and an ability to reach people who hurt like you have. He cares for you! Your worth more than you know and satans attack proves that God wants to do great things through you.... keep fighting. Saying a prayer for you now and know that your life will forever be an impact on the people you reach! Ephesians 2:10 says you are God's masterpiece.... you are never alone and in that, you can know that God is always desiring to be with you and wants to use your hurts to bring healing to all! When I was sick and near losing my life, Proverbs 3:5-6 always got me through. Check it out and don't believe everything you think. When the lies come in, let God's truth have power over them. Joshua Greeno I don't always share on public media....but this page has encouraged me to do so if it would encourage someone else...I have suffered mental depression, anxiety, suicidal behaviors since my teen years...As a christian I did not get the help I needed from the church...that was many years ago and I am glad they are addressing the issue in a more realistic way now...I have been hospitalized at least 10 times over the years but have not had a relapse for over 4 years now. I am 58 and many times quoted the verse "2Ti 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Asking, God why don't you just heal me? My illness has caused life threatening situations for me, but I would not change it even if I could...It has made me loving, merciful and compassionate! I am on meds and encourage anyone suffering to seek professional help as well. I come from a family with this sort of illness, I have had to make life changes but do not blame myself anymore. God uses all things to heal us....My life is controllable now but not without my constant walk with the Lord and filtering the input and people I allow in my life...There is hope and healing in God I used to Hate Me, Now I Love me!.............Love to all of you.

I was driving through a snowstorm in a tractor trailer and I was being over taken with fear, as I could see the road. Speed limit was 65 and I was going 15-20 mph. Fear was telling me that I could not do this and I almost pulled over which would have placed myself and other motorist in danger. Then this song came on the radio, I knew then I was good, I kept driving and with each mile I became empowered and drove right out of the storm to calmer weather. Never doubt God!

In the early hours of this morning (25 January 2020) my beloved mother passed away. Hours before she passed My family and I were by her side while she layed on the hospital bed. At one point my sister-in-law and I sang this song to her and she tried to hum it even though her heart and oxygen levels were super low. She heard us and hummed it for some seconds. I was so moved by this. This was her favourite Kari Jobe song and I just wanted her to know that even though she’s going through the worst pain, she is not alone. We are with her and most importantly our Lord Jesus Christ is with her. I know she is now in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus. One day I will see her and my dad again. Oh how happy I will be!

I grew up there....There are no words for the tragedy you suffered....I find hope that there is a God who will one day bring Justice and dry all tears...My sister lost her only son to a gun tragedy....we grew up with alcoholic family members and I watched her suffer as you did with pain, depression and alcohol....I never lost faith in her Faith in God...she has recovered and is walking with God as you are today...It has been 11 yrs and she still misses her son but God has restored her walk and love for him...I also was divorced from a Christian marriage and threw my bible across the room screaming at God! My dad died in May of this year...through the tears, brokenness, and devastation of finding out I'm prego and the baby's father leaving and telling me to abort the baby I was scared and lonely. As His second coming approaches, Satan will not relent or ease up on you because of the impact you are making on souls...so you must stay prayed up..fasting isn't easy but necessary in your line of work! You are not alone bro. You may not know what to do in your current situation..but if you are " true" to the calling of pastor..then Elohim will provide your needs..daily..Trust Him. I now know from experience, He will give us more and more as we mature and desire Him. As a young child I knew God. As I got older I drifted. My Brother, Father, and Mother lost their lives too soon. (My immediate family) These tragedies caused the deep void in me to become even more obvious. I tried all I could to fill this void, drugs, sex, random people, partying, etc., but nothing seemed to work. My smiling face when I was around people would quickly turn to tears wept the second I got home. I would seek Hospitals/rehabs sometimes random people in search of refuge. My search reminds me of a scripture I was to later read: "Why do you go about so much changing your ways? You will be disappointed by Egypt as you were by Assyria. You will also leave that place with your hands on your head, for the Lord has rejected those you trust; you will not be helped by them." - Jeremiah 2:36-37. To God, we are priceless. And to us, He is more than worthy of all our praise! "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of the sand. When I awake, I am still with you." - Psalm 139:13-18 GOD HAS THE POWER TO CHANGE THINGS!!

My dad has stage 3 cancer and my grandfather (his father) is in the same hospital because his kidneys are failing and they found cancer in his body somewhere. It's been a trying week for our family. Veronica, 3 years ago I also found myself becoming distant from the church. The reason is because I began to see the book of Acts as a dynamic and personal form of the Body of the Messiah. Yet, when I looked at the institutionalized church, it was often ran according to man's doctrinal teachings about controversial topics like tribulation events, baptism, and the marker of salvation. Now, some churches intentionally teach THEIR doctrine and others teach what they interpret to be true. Then I came across 1at John 3:4 which says that sin is transgression from the law (Torah). So to not follow Torah is to sin right? Paul says grace abounds in our sin but we shouldn't sin more so grace can abound more. AKA we shouldn't disobey Torah so grace can abound. Jesus (Yeshua) said to be great in the Kingdom, you teach and do Torah. So, now I am a part of a home-like church that upholds the truths.....check out Eddie Chumney "One New Man" for more of this sort of truths that truly reveals who God is from Genesis to Revelation.

My testimony - As a kid, I was brought up at a Penn Hills church called "Penn Hills Missionary Alliance". I attended Sunday Church Service and Wednesday Youth Groups basically every week up until my early teen years. I even read the Bible from front to back at the age of 10 (not an easy read for such a young punk lol). I also often memorized Bible Verses to earn my way into Edinboro Bible Camp. I had a lot of fun with all of those experiences. Anyways, my pap who was a devout Christian and the "rock" that held the family together, passed away when I was only 13 years old. I see now that my parents were going to church to please him, not God. Ironically, after he died, my descent into a life controlled by sin started to get out of control. I got into marijuana, alcohol, pornography, and began to disrespect my parents like it was my job. Into my twenties, things only got much much worse. I was a marijuana dealer for 7 years, slept with about 100 women (thank God I don't have any STD's), disrespected my parents to the point of face to face confrontation, lied to people, was addicted to porn and sex, served 5 months in Westmoreland County Prison, etc. Basically every step I took was an assault against God. Fast forward to more recent times - I was in a 4 1/2 year relationship with an older woman. I truly thought we were in love, I really did. I now see that that was not the case as she lacked the capacity to forgive which is not love. She would constantly throw my past in my face (as many of you are currently guilty of doing). Anyways, she discovered my porn issue and instead of talking about it in a compassionate and caring manner, she attacked me calling me names and even making false accusations. Then, she said something that really told me she was not a true Christian - She said you could fall too far from God's Grace to receive His mercy, which is NOWHERE in the Bible. (Go Ahead, read it. I dare you lol) Now don't get me wrong, women view watching porn as cheating when you are in a relationship. I get that and I admit that I was wrong for my actions. So anyway, she broke up with me. At first my mourning was for her, but gradually it turned into a mourning of my own soul. I was truly disgusted with the person I was. I no longer wanted to hurt myself or others around me any longer. I cried for several hours on my hands and knees like a little baby asking God to have mercy on me. Then I started watching KZbin videos about how to get closer to God. Then I fell asleep for about 3 to 4 hours. When I woke up, I saw on my phone a video which I had not even selected! (I was asleep after all and had not physically touched my phone at all). It was a KZbin video by Pastor Groeschel about "Spiritual Warrior- Your Porn Battle Plan". I couldn't believe it at first! I knew then that God was listening, God cared, and God loved me! It was at that moment that I started to believe which in turn opened my heart to Jesus. I then got on my knees all over again and wept like a little baby asking Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. I made one key promise though...I promised to God that I would surrender it all and put Him first in my life above all, even my own family. Almost immediately after that, I felt a sudden surge of love and strength flow into my heart like a mighty rushing river! It was purely supernatural....literally knocked the breath out of me several times and gave me goosebumps all over my body. I became a Christian on August 16, 2020 - same day that Elvis died ironically. Now I possess love and strength that I never knew were possible before. I am now literally willing to die for my King Jesus Christ if need be....if it serves to glorify His Almighty Name. I have encountered much spiritual attack in the last 2 weeks or so (Satan is mad that he lost the battle over my heart/soul). In fact, even my own family members and former friends have lashed out at me over my newfound Faith. That's okay though because they also persecuted Jesus about 2,000 years ago so I am in good company. Thank you for reading and God bless you all! - I will add to this though.....never put anyone before God/Jesus Christ, even a woman or man who you think you are in love with. If they are not right with God, then they are not right for you. I made this unfortunate error in my spiritual journey and paid dearly for it Thank God that I made it through by the Amazing Grace of God though. He has had much mercy on me to allow me to live and once again glorify/praise His Almighty Name! Praise be to our Eternal Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST!!!

I would love to tell you the secret of moving past depression. go to a good bible believing church. get on your knees and give your life to jesus Christ. let go of the past by focusing only on jesus. +86acevedo I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I have suffered from depression for years and I remember so many days getting up and thinking that life was pointless. Even when I wanted so much to give up, I remembered that God is near to the brokenhearted and it kept me believing that there was light at the end of the tunnel even when I couldn't see it. Don't internalize your struggle, talk to counselors, parents, friends you trust, pastor and pray. It won't all get better right away, but through time your burden will lessen. May God bless you.

from my own life I know it is a struggle. most of my junior years were hard, some bully's made my life really hard. half of my school life it was like this. my parents raised me as a christian but when I turned 12 years I thaught that God had turned His back on me. I was a nobody and a loser, that was the message I always did hear from others. luckaly my parents gave a stable and safe home and that was all I had. at the age of 15 at a dutch youth conferance I said out loud to God:"If You exist, can you led me feel that you care. without evidence I cant believe!" now I find it shocking that I had the courage to say something like this to God Himself, But God in his loyalty answerd my prayer! At that point the feeling that I had was and is undescibeable. that moment at a instant I was changed, I was depressed and had thoughts to kill my self, now I whis to be with my Saviour and I am thankfull for the live he gives everyday. not that I where holy from that day on, no absolutly not! when I turned 17 a 18 years I started drinking I had nothing better to do, also did struggel with a lot of insecurities. I still didnt liked who I was, I did know that God cared but it was always from a distance. I gratuated from my study as a teachers assistent. and went futher with a theological study to teach religion on highschools, that went bad because of my dyslexia(words and letter blindness). I couldnt read fast enough to keep up. that was also a slap in the face because my dream went broke again. then I went to a dutch Bibleschool and there God changed me further, the emotions witch I had stop to grow in started again and quickly. as a crown I met my girlfriend and she says when i didnt went to bible school to get innerly reformed, when God didnt chaged me, we weren't in a relationship now. God is changing me still and I want to encourage you all!!! God has a beatifull plan for us all and all are dark days He is make them to a usefull tool to reach others. every one is unique and God gave us all unique talents and feelings, but personal story are almost never always beatifull. But we may Know that God will use everything to good for the people who love Him. romans 8:28, the scripture that was given to me when I was baptised from someone who did not know anything about me. So to you all: God cares a lot about our missery and problems, but search and you will find Him because He walks with you the same as he does with me! because of my past I rather stay annomius, and sorry for my bad english come through dyslexia :D. Just want to tell you God reveals Himself to us who are broken and cry out...HE is near the broken spirit and know that you do Not have to go to seminary and theology school for HE shows Himself to the lowly ones, the babes. I love your testimony and that's why He showed Himself to you. Read the bible and continue in His Word, those are the ones that will overcome, those who continue and endure til the end. Amen! Well friend, count your eggs it could have been worse. I would have counted myself lucky if I were in your shoes and I mean it in literal sense. My story is too stressful to talk about so I treat it as it is, a thing in the past to remain in the past. The future is ahead of me so no need to look back. But I know a terrible adventure that may help you over your own worries. Go to organizations like amnesty or those that work with immigrants. Or start with documentaries on situations in third world countries or right under your very nose. Did you know that in western countries there are illegal migrants working as slaves? Not pretty, but one look at their stories and you'll start questioning your view on your own problem. I know I did and I worried less and less. The problems you face won't disappear at once but they'll seem less overwhelming. Also read the books of samuel and see how many times and how long king David had to run for his life, yet God came through for him. Cast your cares upon the Lord and he will sustain thee is not advice in vain. Be of good courage and find strength in the word of God.

+Bas Wajer That's really beautiful testimony. You're a WINNER! Definitely not a loser. Its true; God has a beautiful plan for each person & those dark days make a person who is a useful tool to reach others. Through all your past pain & hurt you will meet others and be able to be perceptive and intuitive (having a heart of compassion and empathy) that feels compassion for others with similar background or experiences & you will be able to encourage them & speak words of hope and strength into their heart. It will be genuine. I went to bible colleges. I was there for three years. But my study could never teach me what the above could. My education could never teach me what my experience could & without them I think that I would not be the person I am today. God is an amazing God who moves in our lives & never leaves us & sometimes at those dark times we wonder where he was in pain. But he never left. Beauty of heart and strength of mind arises from the ashes of pain and hurt and anguish and depression. Your testimony brings tear to my eyes of joy. I don't know you. But I'm glad you are here and pulled through.....God has a wonderful purpose for your life.
