Im a lukewarm Christian. A very, very lukewarm Christian. I had the fire of God before, but I let it get snuffed out and liked staying in the darkness. And yet he still loves me. Why? He is so amazing and he still helps me when I don't deserve it at all. I can't help but cry at how merciful he is. This past 1 year and 1/2 have been miserable. Went through hell, living with the pain of it still And I realize, it's because I didn't seek God. I couldn't see the picture he has for me. And im still trying to work on that. I never let him take the reins on my life. To stuck on everything going according to plan, what even was the plan? He's been trying to give me serene peace at all times I just didn't realize. But when I did seek him, and knock on his door, he was more than willing to envelop me in his arms. Even if I went back to my old ways, he was and is always there if I need him, and even if I feel I don't when In reality at times like that it was and is when I need him most. And yet he stuck with me, stayed with me. Even if I was undeserving. So, so undeserving. Im ranting typing all of this because I want you to see God's beauty. Feel his peace. He cannot give you happiness if you do not let him. How do you expect to learn if you don't let him teach you? Open your eyes see the beauty all around you. Open your arms, let him hold you. Open your heart, let him have a place in you. I promise you that you'll overcome this, you'll find whatever you're looking for, but only through Him. For beauty is all around you, if only you open your mind to see it. And to feel it.

I'm just reading this and wow I relate to you SO much. I really appreciate your honesty and transparency. I was a very lukewarm christian too for several years even after having deep encounters with Him and experiencing His love. I wanted to do things my way and I wasn't seeking God either the way I should have and it just led to so much disappointment, pain, and I fell into a deep depression that felt impossible for me to get out of. I hit rock bottom and ran straight to Him and came to the realization that nothing else matters but HIM (I had known this before but not at all like I do now). I'm seeking Him daily and reading the Word which is making such a huge difference in my life. And I'm really sorry that you were having such a hard time, I've been there so I understand. Just keep your eyes on God and seek Him continually despite of how you may feel. Also, maybe you're already doing this but I encourage you to read the Bible everyday - this is what is really going to change your life 🤍

This song sang to me 3 years ago when I was going through something very heavy in my marriage. I didn’t understand why God had put me down that road, and why it was happening. I had so much fear, listened to so many lies in my head, struggled with the decision of what to do and I just clung to Jesus. His presence is what got me through. He painted a beautiful picture for me through it all. He changed so many weeds that had hindered in my life and marriage, planted new seeds, and gave my husband and I a fresh start. Things happen but God’s promise lives and has victory through it all. Don’t lose hope! He can make beauty out of ashes in any situation. Have hope and cling to Jesus and His word!

This song has been of great blessing, my mom gave birth at 29 weeks to my little brother. He is in the NICU and for so long I felt heartbroken and hopeless. But it says is the Bible that what we declare has power. With great faith I would declare the healing of Jesus over my little brother, and my little brother is doing amazing. My other half was diagnosed with Non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver due to NASH in April and from January to then it was test after test to find out what was wrong. Thankfully it’s compensated and still functioning but still very scary as progression varies from person to person but I’m believing for a complete healing in Jesus name. This song has gotten me through this year, which has been the hardest year emotionally of my life, full of fear, anxiety, worry.
