I agree. I would have never imagined that I would enjoy a version of a classic like this (which, by the way, is now about 20 years old). It has another feeling and would never replace it but it's also gorgeous. This is a excelent example of how to explore new styles and how to handle an old piece without insult it (like Theatre of Tragedy did with "and when he falleth").

knowing the original make a lot of difference... I think I would call it a nice song if I didn't loved the old version. peraphs I love nightwish and I love the 3rd and the mortal, Kari beutiful voice it's still unrivaled... even so... it would be unfair to put thumb down but if I think to tears laid on earth this new version for me it's blasphemy.
