In 2017 Gary Lineker said in a tweet that he did not understand why Benzema was at Real Madrid. He said that he was an average player. That year Benzema became the 4th top scorer in the UCL history, and he was top 10 in Madrid's history. I don't see too many people questioning him about his statement.🤔

Anyone that doesn't know Micah Richards is either very young or doesn't follow football. He was a solid player for City during their rise with the new owners from 2008-12 and was a starter for them when they won an FA Cup and their 1st Prem title in 44 years. He unfortunately struggled with injuries throughout his career which limited his potential and caused him to retire at 30.
