Good decision taken by mama. I appreciate this good step. Karimganj was a part of Sylhet subdivision before 1947. That time Sylhet has 7 thanas (Parganas) and 3.5 thanas name Karimganj, Ratabari, Patherkandi and Badarpur came and join to India and 3.5 thanas of Muslim majority Sylhet went to East Pakistan. So, there is no need to remain Karimganj name to this district longer.
