Well, there are a few reasons but mainly if they are here and if it is true that we’ve recovered craft, etc, and still haven’t been able to reverse engineer the stuff I doubt a fresh crashed craft will change anything. As for Musk, he’s very adaptable and strongly in favor of democracy and humanity in general. I doubt he’s holding back tech so his space X can thrive. Remember he also has a lot else going on too. I find it far more likely what we are looking at now is manmade. My worry is it’s project blue beam but a close second is if it’s Chinese.
