I feel like she was the Anna Nicole Smith if her time. Absolutely gorgeous but troubled and kind of the laughing stock of the press. I'm not pitting them against each other because I think they were both gorgeous and Marilyn is Marilyn- nobody can ever be her but facially I think Jane was actually way prettier. Especially when you take into consideration Marilyn had so much plastic surgery on her face she looked completely different than Norma Jean (and that's actually a credit to her doctor he did an amazing job, you wouldn't be able to tell if it wasn't public knowledge) but yea Jayne was one of the prettiest women from that era in my opinion. I wish she made her own lane instead of letting people convince her to try and be the next Marilyn especially when it was Marilyn's heyday at the time, it's not like this was 20 years after Marilyn passed. You can't have two Marilyn's at the same time lol, I think that was a huge reason she was received the way she was, the woman she was imitating was alive and around! Who thought that would be a good idea? Too bad she didn't realize that and make her own lane.

Yeah, the tone of voice, gestures and general demeanor was taken from Monroe even though you see it's not really Mansfield. She doesn't look convincing. @LizNeptune2 жыл бұрын

Jayne Mansfield was Iconic and way ahead of time not only was she drop dead gorgeous, but she was talented, smart and had a bigger than life personality if only people could have seen her for herself and not some dumb blond, if only she was never given a fair chance people only wanted her for her beauty and sexual image.

Everyone agrees she was talented. As with Monroe, she was so convincing pretending to be a dumb girl with blond hair, that the public accepted her in that role. She created that image. Great video. It’s frightening to think she could even be around someone who had a church like that. I hope she is in heaven.

I love that Jayne Mansfield was both beautiful & intelligent. If her IQ was 163, she bypasses Einstein & Stephen Hawking. I also didn’t know she played the violin. Such clever lady.

I think that others should learn from her story. Especially when it comes to Devil Worshipping. Not something that is advised to do. Beyonce should pay attention to her story. Because sooner rather than later the Devil will come to collect.

it’s really sad on how she passed but it’s crazy dealing with a satanist. I pray and hope that her Children cast that out cuz chillle they were exposed to that

I literally just learned that.... Marilyn Monroe thought she was basically a copycat and didn't like her 🤣 and was even photographed snubbing Jane at a party, like Mariah Carey did JLo "I don't know her" style LMFAOOO. I had to Google it, because they seemed too similar & I found some old Hollywood tea. Thanks 😁😘

Funny Marilyn said unkind things about her. Personally I think she is prettier than Marilyn and obviously much more intelligent. But I am female and that is simply my opinion.

The trouble with being and acting camp is that it can very easily turn flamboyance into ridiculousness. I think that's the root cause of Mansfield's negative publicity.

What a beautiful, strong, intelligent woman! I knew some of this info but learned a lot of new things about Jayne watching this video. I love watching all your videos as your voice is quite melodic and I think you would make a fantastic teacher should you ever opt to go that direction! Much respect and light from Alaska--Danielle
