Omg, I’m going back to Shanghai this Wednesday! I hope you discover some really wonderful foods there! Btw I recommend this dessert u can find all over in Shanghai. It has boba, taro, sweet potato and ube balls with grass jelly and sometimes red bean and lots of other optional toppings. It’s so good!

​@@harshiniprabaharan7232 I think it’s called 糖水 (táng shuǐ) in Chinese, but there isn’t exactly a name for it in english. Actually you can find this almost everywhere in mainland China and it’s a really refreshing dessert especially during the hot weather :)

As a chinese, I recommend everyone to eat Sichuan dishes, especially the spicy ones, if you can tolerate them. They're like said spicy but addictive. You made a good choice by paying Sichuan a visit🥰✨

btw tang yuan is usually served as a breakfast or afternoon tea with the water it was boiled in as a “soup” since the tang yuan is sticky, you can use the “soup” to not choke
