Very nicely roasted! 😂👏 But Hero deserved this actually. I still remember during my college days I used to ride my friend's karizma and take it everywhere. Used to feel so good that riding that bike. It also handled bad roads pretty well and looked stunning with it's design. The only bike that came close to the character of karizma was definitely pulsar of those times! Especially 2003-04 model of pulsar. Those were the days really... 🙂👍 Today there are tons of options for all kinds of bikes. But at that time, if one owned a pulsar or karizma. He definitely considered himself a cool dude.... 🙂 Missing those days, really!

I purchased the 2014 Karizma R for Rs.20,000 in amazing condition 4 years ago. Since then that is zero maintenance and very nice and comfy tourer. Done 26000kms purely touring. That hideous fairing is amazing at deflecting wind. If you are on a very tight budget for a touring motorcycle and compromise on looks, just at least consider that later ugly model as resale is a disaster compared to the value it offers. And no, the looks will not grow on you if you own it.

Two strokes are not good for long rides especially in summers as they overheat. My tip would be to stick to city rides and shorter highway rides only.

After using Karizma R for 8 long years I replaced the bike with Xtreme 200. No option left with hero to buy a 225 or 250 cc bike atleast. And the new xtream performance is feeling like a junk. Even 150 cc or lesser models from other brands perform better than Xtreme
