I installed pulsar 220 caburetor in my karizma its woking very good....👍😇....same issues i faced in my karizma cold start problem missing problem rpm always rising doesnt come down while shifting gears....amd was costly also around 7000...this pulsar 220 carburetor is only 3000 rs

I had same problems with my 2003 model karizma I rectified them over a period of time...after studying the carb design The wavering idle Solution....change the hard spring with a very soft spring...the idle air conttol valve circuit ...the one wd small diaphragm and blunt needle...just behind the throttle cam...the idle will get stable...in my bike its between 1000-1100rpm range now....stable 99%. And for experiment once u get desired results...put back the hard spring back again....and voila....your wavering idle sign will b back again... Most of u are using petrol to clean carb....i totally disagree As u know in four strokes there is exhaust/ carbon blow back towards air box when exhaust valve is closing ...same time inlet valve is opening....right... This blowback causes carbon buildup inside air passages....making them smaller as the result the stoichiometric ratio gets disturbed....mixture becomes rich.... And u guys fiddle around with fuel screw...wasting time Solution...USE ONLY AND ONLY...THROTTLE BODY CLEANER....USE COPIOUSLY...FIRST FEW TIMES ...U will b surprised how much carbon dirt muck comes out....and please clean all holes thoroughly....assemble back carb....and the fuel screw setting will go back to 4 full turns out...yes...360*4... 1440 degree...factory setting...u will get a light brown to slightly white colour on spark plug....u have to fiddle around this setting....pick up will b vastly improved There is one feature in this carb....not found in other carbs....the idle air control valve circuit...operated via vacuum from air injection/suction valve....any problem wd this part/pipes wl mess up ur starting function... Pulsar 220 carb if i remember has no such circuit...hence starting in winters is easy.... Off course other parameters like compression, valve clearance etc should.b near factory specs.... I clean carb every 2000kms now, every service... DR J S KALSI.BDS AMRITSAR

Hi bro I have same problem to my karizma r. Bro it's been 4 months since I changed accelerator wire to my karizma r. It has become very tight now. I also rarely use the bike. say about non perishable accelerator wire in less used please. And you said fz old modal ? Tell me what year modal it belongs to please 🙏 😊

Correct... Over life span of a carburettor it slowly shows up these problems... 4-5 min warm ups is not a issue

Bro its very low, i would say carburettor change kro and engine kro thik hai yan nhi but most probably carburettor change krke yan use set kroge to thik hojaegi

Bro aap apna engine krao kahi piston rings kharab na ho or apke petrol tank me bhi problem hoskti hai i mean petrol tank gnda ho but aap kaihre ho ki carburettor saaf kraya hai to engine check krao meri caliber bike me bhi same hota tha but piston change krwane ke baad problem chli gyi thi, i suggest kisi achhee mechanic se bike check krwao❤️

Mere Karizma r mai bhi same problem tha. Carburettor clean karwaya mechanic se. Ab 1-2 kick mai start hota hai with choke.
