Just love how Hux Brown and Harry Haughton takes care of the rhythm and lead guitar duties that adds the infectious cadence and subtle but tasteful decorations we often ignore and take for granted.

I often wonder what Sunny Rollins would think of this treatment.

THIS REGGAE BACK UP IS THE ULTIMATE YARD LIKES as they say [meaning only Jamaican musicians on the island can play it like this ,,it's hypnotic and heart throbbing, what more can I say, I would listen to this the whole day..

I remember in 1973 when i first heard this song at a outdoor barbeque in brooklyn NY, it was awesome. Straight reggae music. RUB A DUB,,😇💤💯💯💯

Has a "50's-60's film credit" vibe to it with the sax's vibrato! 🎶🎵

Killer Studio One riddim. Does justice to the Burt Bacharach classic. The dub on this is wicked also.👍👍

Everything is on point in this tune. Baseline is nice, heavy and keeps you moving, Sax is sweet, Rhythm guitar chops and slides are nice and sharp and the Organ is top notch!

Yes P redeem and my waistline was moving slowly and precisely while the sax was pounding rhythm constantly as my body moves in motion. Love it bad takes me back to my youth when I was a young girl in the city of kingston. STUDIO ONE LIVES FOREVER.

Possible musicians in this song are, either Brian Atkinson or Leroy Sibbles [of the Heptones] on Bass, Guitars Lynn Taitte, Hucks Brown and Earl China Smith, Keyboard/Piano Jackie Mittoo, Drummer David Isaacs, Sax Karl Bryan,, Studio one music..
@richone102 жыл бұрын
Wow!! I was thinking Brian on bass, Harry Haughton and Hux on guitars… either way, MASTERFULLY EXECUTED.
@predeem16292 жыл бұрын
Bass is probably Brian Atkinson, Boris Gardiner or Errol Walters Guitar is most likely Eric Frater, Patrick Mcdonald Core Sound Dimension

Earl China Smith never start playing yet! A little before his time.

You probably meant to say JOE instead of DAVID Isaacs.
