Such an amazing song. No actual known language used here, just made up vocal sounds that resemble tribal languages as a whole and a tribal beat with soaring melodies. Goose bumps every time. I first bought the CD pure moods in the mid 90’s (I’m 60 now) and this song was on it so I found the composer and bought the album and it’s full of goosebump inducing music with much of the same vocalisations made with no known language. This weekend, my son (who is a high schooler) had the opportunity to perform Sir Karl Jenkins’ “Requiem” at Carnegie Hall with other choral students from around the world.
