AD is far superior to Towns on the defensive side but Towns can score in many different ways in the paint or from 3. AD only has a mid range shot, not a good 3 ball and minimal post moves. Both very good players but very different skill sets

It's kind of a challenge to play for the US national team. They only scout NBA players because they want the absolute win. Towns was a sophomore in Highschool in this vid. He was pretty good when he was young and is doing good today. Definitely deserving of the number 1 pick
