Back when I was younger and not a mommy yet, I used to go out alone too and enjoy the loneliness. There’s no way to describe that taking yourself out feeling. Grabbing a coffee, lunch, going shopping for hours with no one rushing you or worries about having to get home because you have things to do. Enjoy it as much as you can!

I always enjoy taking myself out for a solo date. I work midnights, and after an 8-night working stretch, I always take myself out to breakfast and read my book while I'm there, walk a few doors down to the bakery for a sweet treat, and then a few more doors down to my favorite coffee shop, socialize with the employees there because they hook me up with my drink order always, and then head home. I got tired of waiting to find people to do things with (going to the movies, trying out new restaurants, traveling, etc). Life's too short, imma take myself out :)
