i've just realised how often i do this when i'm bored/stressed/annoyed to give myself something to focus on & help centre myself lol. in that context it's more the physical sensation of repetitive motion & giving my hands a workout than the visual aspect that calms me (although seeing dope shapes appear & perfecting mirrored movements does spark joy). from this angle it looks so cool! plus makes me sleepy & has cured my tingle immunity so thank you 😌 some of those nice intricate/elaborate movements will probably pop up in my own routine tbh haha
