The Father's face is stern and strong, he sits and judges right from wrong. He weighs our lives, the short and long, and loves the little children The Mother gives the gift of life, and watches over every wife. Her gentle smile ends all strife, and she loves her little children The Warrior stands before the foe, protecting us where e'er we go. With sword and shield and spear and bow, he guards the little children. The Crone is very wise and old, and sees our fates as they unfold. She lifts her lamp of shining gold to lead the little children. The Smith, he labors day and night, to put the world of men to right. With hammer, plow, and fire bright, he builds for little children. The Maiden dances through the sky, she lives in every lover's sigh. Her smiles teach the birds to fly, and gives dreams to little children. The Stranger is the one unknown Who watches us from birth to bone Until their likeness etched in stone And waits for little children. The Seven Gods who made us all, are listening if we should call. So close your eyes, you shall not fall, they see you, little children. Just close your eyes, you shall not fall, they see you, little children.

Yeah, but no. The concept of a many-in-one god/goddess is hundreds, of not thousands, of years older than christianity. Then again, the men who wrote the bible stole pretty much everything from the much, much older religions in and around the middle-east. Nothing new under the sun, in this as in all things.

judges right from wrong ,hard judgements are needed you can't live forgiving like a mother or a maiden will do , you need to serve revenge and punishmentsto take back what was took unfairly. to make it right forcibly even by committing crimes to help your family or country, men like those are going extinct in the first world , now days " what about the p*e*d*o feeling " your evil if you hurt people and that the end without even thinking more about it that some people must get hurt.

I love how everyone is trying to create their own version for the stranger. here are my attempts to glorify death and the stranger. The stranger takes us when we fall, To his great golden shiny hall, Bring long sleep to our tired saul Don't be afraid, oh little children. or The stranger gives us final choice, to take all misery from our life, All your pain will vanish in a trice, Just drink this, oh little children. or The stranger's hand are long and strong, So don't run, it won't take too long, now close your eyes and sing this song, goodbye, oh, little children. or The last one has so many name, To take his gift so many came, Now we have come to take the same, So don't cry, my little children. or The stranger's strike is swift and sure, you can't run, not anymore, it's time to yield, don't be unsure, Come to me, oh little children.

Honestly, Robert's death was obvious; literally it was foreshadowed since episode one. Drogo and Eddard's deaths made sense as well; we'd have a very different story with both. Eddard was very main character-like, so killing him was supposed to be a message: things are messy. This is war and anyone can die at any times. In the privy, falling from a cliff, torn apart or poisoned. Drogo, again, sent the same message, and Dany's future and aspirations would not have worked as well as Drogo's wife. Plenty of the main cast, both heroes and villains, are even still alive, even though we're all too aware that they could be killed. Except Tyrion. Knock on wood, but I suspect he'll out live everyone. Because George literally said he's his favorite character too...not that that makes him safe.

Another amazing song. :) And thank you for posting the lyrics. It makes it easier for us with a hearing dissorder to follow in the song. :)

The Starks represent each of the Seven Faces of God. Ned-The Father Catelyn-The Mother Robb-The Warrior Bran-The Crone Rickon-The Smith (Perhaps foreshadowing Rickon the Rebuilder?) Sansa-The Maiden Arya-The Stranger Jon isn't one of the seven because he's a bastard or maybe a Targaryen

+Zack Trowbridge I reckon Jon represents all faces
