David Robinson: Leading the Spurs over Drexler and the Blazers (1990 WCSF Game 3, 28 Points)

Introducing The Admiral to the channel. Thought I would start with his rookie season. David Robinson had 28 points, 8 rebounds and 8 blocks as he dominated in the paint on both offense and defense. I had forgotten about his athleticism but it is in full display here. The Spurs routed the Blazers to make it a 2-1 deficit.
I am going to work on adding more Spurs player highlights to this channel (New Year's Resolution). The San Antonio Spurs are my favorite team but they do seem to be on the losing side of things here. (I have 2 series dedicated to great players dominating the Spurs).
8 blocked shots is a great way to make a playoff statement, and it was a sign of things to come from David.
