Karmic forces can be countered by new forces - prarabhdha karma can be countered according to the laws of mechanics. For example, using karmic healing techniques skillfully and selflessly like Hawaiian Kahuna healing - Ho'oponopo techniques done skillfully and selflessly with golden blissful light and selfless love can heal karmic memories when done for extended periods with skill. Atonement actions like charity can also mitigate karmic destiny. And adoption of strict discipline to evolve towards unselfish evolution and prudent reasoning can allow more freedom of choice via a higher evolution law.

Non dual teachings reveal to us that there is *no free will* and all is determined by our destiny (God, Ishwar, Allah, Brahman, Self). So there is no question of perfect free will as free will is an illusion. This is why the system is called non duality as you and God are not dual identities. You and God are the same and so is everyone else. It is all one.

i'm still confused..if there's only prarabdha, then there's no free will..then how can there be free will if you identify as an individual? It's an illusion right? I kind of understand this, once i was really buzzed after almost 20 drinks at a party in khaosan road, bangkok and walked home, crossed the pedestrian crossing, i even bought something in the shop with a buzzed sensation in my head and I felt like everything was happening on autopilot. I don't know, most people who see me say i always look sobre even when i drink a lot but that day i felt like an observer in my own skin. I wasn't controlling anything but I was still doing everything. I guess ramana would ask "who is the I you think is doing that" and I would reply "no one\the Self".

If you believe in karma, you have to believe in reincarnation. As a Neonatologist caring for newborn babies, I sometimes care for babies born blind. One can get a reasonable diagnosis why the baby can’t see. We explain it to the parents and strive to answer their questions but many parents would cry out in anguish: why me? They want to know why nature picked their baby? Is this all just misfortune or is there an intelligent design in all this? If this is the only birth this baby has ever had, it surely has not done anything bad as yet to deserve this bad karma of being born blind. OTOH what if it did something bad in a previous lifetime? Intriguing to say the least is it not!

attaining salvation is not so complex or complicated as portrayed in this video.. very very few will ever be able to process and live out what is discussed.. and so too few will ever truly benefit. Yet many many more will attain salvation even without delving into all of that.. Who the doer is or the identification thereof doesn't matter.. for the jnani what matters is only to know who he is.. when he is steeped in that and meditates on himself.. he becomes that, ultimately experiencing samadhi. But even then, he has not yet fully realized himself as God who is all knowing and source of all things, infinite.. that last step is completed by God by the way of grace. What happens to you is due to your own prarabdha karma, the fruits of which are dispensed by the navagrahas (nine planets), not God.. what you do in response/reaction to what happens to you becomes your future (agami karma). 'You do' because of your nature (satwic, rajasic, tamasic), tendencies and inclinations (samskaras and vasanas), desires, quality of your intellect (including ignorance), etc... all of that you have carried over from past births and they propel you to 'do'... but since they propel you, in fact its simply laws of nature (prakruti) doing it all through you based on your constitution and where you're at in your overall evolution.. it is also because of that, your basic nature thus far resulting from past lives, you also are affected by unseen forces - angelic beings and dark forces - they too exist and compel your decisions and actions.. so you have been given mantras, pujas, homas, and jnana to use as protection from dark forces.. the only thing in your control is to transform your self.. when you meditate on the self.. you begin to realize the self.. you take on its very nature, which is your nature... it is called purification.. whatever the mind is turned to it becomes.. if it is turned to this world it becomes an actor in this world and assumes every aspect of what it is to be that, an actor.. if it is turned inward to the light.. it becomes the light that it is.. and because that light is also silent the mind which exists only because its noise, begins to dissolve in the light.. the Light then liberates you, or keeps you here to continue to serve people and thereby further lighten your ego and attachment.. until the those naturally and gently crack and you hatch out of it.. the body and mind then naturally drop away.. until then as you make effort, and effort you have to make, you receive help from God and angels.. but you must turn within to the light.. a time comes when you simply see everything done through you, by nature and by celestial / angelic beings who are trying to help those here.. you become simply an instrument of service.. until the body falls and you return to the light.

If we are not the doers then consciousness was responsible for the holocaust and not Hitler who would be just an avatar, avatars can't collect karma
