This is a fictional story that captures the life and times of Somasekara Ganapadigal and his joint family.
How the family disintegrates because of the judgement given by Somasekara Ganapadigal against a priest Sankara Sastrigal forms the crux of the story.

All good but the director/ producer has faulted at one place - as far as I remember, there was no electrification in the villages - atleast till 1970 - Konnerirajapuram had no electricity and it just came after that. To show the streets well lit is a small mistake.
