Suspense is thrilling. Gayatri's acting is superb though Priya is not far behind. I sympathize with the father as he speaks like a man belonging to his generation. The next generation comprising Priya and Gayatri are bold bordering on arrogance due to empowerment. This was the scenario 15 - 16 years back. However the current generation (2021) parents have absolutely no control as kids are way too independent and arrogant. That is why Maha Periyavaa insisted on sticking to dharmic traditions.

Priya calling Gayathri's mother Chotti mummy is so irritating and unnatural. I have lived in Bombay for 12 years and met many Tamil families . None of them uses Hindi words to address relations. Also Priya was born and brought up in Tamilnadu , addressing like this just because the family moved to Chennai from Mumbai is not appropriate. Ironically Gayathri, her father and GF never use any Hindi words.
