concerning the parasite movie situation: I don't go to the cinema very often but because I knew Choi Woo-shik from my fav kdrama it made me curious and I wanted to go watch it. I only started watching kdramas because I started listening to BTS and it made me curious about korean culture, movies, lifestyle, etc. My mom loves going to the cinema, but she probably wouldn't have given the movie a chance if I hadn't asked her to come see it with me because I had read some really amazing reviews and knew she would like it. We both ended up loving it and my mom still talks about it to this day and she even kind of started being interessted in BTS, even though she didn't want to give their music a chance before.
