A big (or perhaps the biggest) problem with the retrograde planets is that they either deliver results very early or very late. They are not synchronised with the other planets in the birth chart. I have seen people with retrograde planets and they get results when they are not really interested. As an example a person getting married when he/she was under age or in their 50s.
