@siggizippan80769 жыл бұрын
Math cargi What is the "bottine souriante" song. I am sorry I don't speak or understand French and have no idea what you are talking about.In certain areas of Germany, esp. in the Rhine area you have Celtic music and we have in Germany music groups who are into the Celtic music but in a more modern medium. Please, check out the German group of "Faun". They use the very same instruments as the Quebec group but a very different music. Try it and let me know how you like this German group.
@siggizippan80769 жыл бұрын
Ok, but in Germany they have Celtic songs also in the west of the Rhine river and the south of the Danube river. So, please listen to the German group of "Faun" playing on the old Celtic instruments but sing in German. But you have to remember that the German language has a quite a lot of Celtic sounds which do not appear in other Scandanavian languages. Please be open to that kind of music.

I wish a lot more Canadians and British people would recognize that the people of Bretagne and the west of the Rhine River and the southern area of the Danube in Germany were Celtic and they used the same instruments as in the British Isles, France, Quebec and please listen and see the German group of "Faun". They play the same instruments than you in Quebec, Wales, Scotland but using a different language. This is music which should unite you rather than divide you because you speak different languages. No wonder, the Celtic culture disappeared because of their language difference rather than their cultural difference. If you don't believe the Celts were living in Germany than why have we similar words in Scotland, similar sounds in Wales? Think about at.
@matsaluisius9 жыл бұрын

Math cargi Excuse me but a lot of people in France and Great Britain do not realize or know that there were Celtic people in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. But I am not surprised at all because you have a very limited knowledge, history lessons regarding the Celts in Europe. Before you make statements regarding the Celts here in North-America please, educate yourself regarding the Celts living in these countries I mentioned above. I am really, pissed off that you here in Canada do not have the same access to historic records in countries on the European continent in regards to the Celts as a lot of us people in these very same countries.

@115381563079617799443 Ho shit , slow down man. Your arrogance is so rude ... i just want to explain to you why we can see celtic influence in Quebec ... Congrulation you made me angry with your disparaging reply .
@siggizippan80769 жыл бұрын
Math cargi First of all, I am a female and secondly I did not disparage Celtic influences in Canadian/Quebec culture. It is very obvious that in Quebec there is Celtic influences from Bretagne but I also wanted to point out that there are Celtic influences and cultures in Germany, especially in the south- and southwestern part of Germany because of language, music and culture. So, please don't insult me and learn something about Celticarcheological finds, Celtic cultural remnants like names of cities, in the German language and old musical instruments.

Influence of this music is Universal no need to compare its a fruit of the humanity we are one and they make us believe that we are not wake up
@Humanophage6 жыл бұрын
I disagree. There are many different traditions around the world, and there is no need to fuse everything into one blob. If anything, the sinister "they" are more likely to have a globalist outlook, since it is easier to control a deracinated, unified mass with no loyalties. "We are one", "it's a fruit of humanity" are exactly the sort of appeals that your regular international corporation would make in some tedious, overproduced ad imposed on you by KZbin. That said, of course anyone can play any music they want, though I would argue that it changes the subjective meaning. There is a difference between a ritual performed for religious reasons, as a performance for tourists, as an ethnographic reenactment by foreigners, etc. Conscious limitation is often what forms tradition and gives a distinct shape to different cultures.

Influence of this music is Universal no need to compare its a fruit of the humanity we are one and they make us believe that we are not wake up its a primal thing claiming being the original one is a sin everyone was influence at some point in time

+Dizzy Wizz Al, Yes of course, but the so -called Celtic music do not have anything Celtic background or traditions, they are inherited of the musics played by troubadours in the Middle Ages, nothing to do with the Celts !!! You should read books about the history of European musics, instead of repeating the same usual bullshits. For example, Breton traditional music has as many common points with Irish music as with Roumanian or Berber music in North-Africa, just listen, you uncultivated folks !
@toutainchristophe43488 жыл бұрын
+tdbsnr You are clearly an idiot repeating the same bullshits from the medias and the pseudo-Celts. Just read books about the history of music and listen to music I suppose you have no idea about traditional music of Gascony, Bearn, or other parts of southern France that are clearly related to the Spanish musics. Just check on KZbin, you will be less idiotic. Compare also certain Breton traditional musics with the Roumanian or the Berber one, it is also clearly close. Galicia is more probably a pre-indo-european name, nothing to do with gaelic

Maybe I can be of some help, I am from the area that sings these songs. These are French-Canadian folk songs. The language you hear is "joual". We are Canadian from the province of Quebec, the only French-language province in America.

The French-Canadian accent is a little different from the French proper; but it's the same language.

@karmachief6 жыл бұрын
@leanebricaud50936 жыл бұрын
@karmachief6 жыл бұрын
@leanebricaud50936 жыл бұрын

Believe me...they're Québecois-- they're from Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu. And "Louisiana-style" only exists because the Acadians settled there after they were forced out of Nova Scotia and PEI by the British. "Cajun" is a corruption of the word "Acadian."
@robin-bq1lz4 жыл бұрын
