Till date it remains the only weightlifting medal for India at the Olympics. Amazing woman! Lifting weights should be for everyone, it resolves many physical ailments that we often look to surgery for. Lower back pain, hip pain, etc...all of it can be improved by LIFTING weights, not avoiding them. Young and old alike can benefit from it, even the lightest weight in less than an hour a day can improve posture, muscular imbalance and pinched nerves. Kudos to the women who are not afraid of being strong.
