Heard Karnataka for the first time ever last week on Radio Caroline. 64 years on this spinning rock and trying to figure out how this fantastic band slipped through the cracks. Found them now and life is so much better for it.

Played this song at my wedding when we were signing the register. Sadly it was wasted on everyone bar myself as I was the only one who appreciated the brilliance of the band and this song. It went over everyone’s head. Tim Charles on Radio Caroline got me into the band with this song, never looked back.

Looking back at this from 2003 and also the live music from Karnataka 2023"Requiem for a dream tour" such a big difference but both good in their own way! The main thing is Karnataka carries on and continues to evolve!

I have had the pleasure of seeing this band live many times, they were local to me and would go to see them at whatever pub they were playing at. Watched them perfect the Delicate Flame album before it was released and boy what a gem it was, well worth waiting for. It is still high up in my top 10 albums selection. A great pity that the band split after this album, they were really heading in the right direction with this line up.
