@@maryangelaforgione6961 I don't know where you are from, but... Actually, Sofia Vergara accent reflects her Colombian accent perfectly. Colombians we have a lot of accents and they are quite different. The most famous one abroad (at this moment) is the "paisa" accent, which is Karol's. You can also hear it when Maluma and J Balvin speak English. They all are from Medellín and have the same paisa accent, but, for some reason, Karol's is thicker. Whereas Sofía is from the Caribbean region on the north coast and our accent up there is way different, closer to the way people speak in northern Venezuela, Panama, Cuba, Dominican, and Puerto Rico. Her accent in English sounds 100% from Barranquilla, her hometown (mine as well). The difference across our accents comes from the "mother" accents in Spain. The paisa people (Medellín and its area) descent mostly from "País Vasco" in northeast Spain, while the Caribbean accents (no matter where we descent from; mostly from Spain, Arabian countries, or Africa) come from the Andalucía region in the Spanish southwest.

Really? Most people from Medellín (where Karol G is from) actually keep their accent in both Spanish and English lol. The Paisa accent just sticks man, almost every Paisa I know has their accent regardless of the language they're speaking.
