Nash, please read this to know about india's past and achievements. Brits say they gave us education. But, we already had ancient universities like nalanda, takshashila, vikramshila, and much more over thousands of years ago. Indians also had concepts of calculus before west like infinite series for pi, power series for sine and cosine, inverse tangent series, and much more. These series were made by Madhava of Sangamagrama, who was a medieval indian mathematician and astronomer. Maharishi Kanada proposed the idea of atoms before Greeks and Dalton. Aryabhatta invented cosine and sine function. Sushruta performed complex surgeries like brain, cataract, rhinoplasty, limb, and much more over 2000 years ago and used leeches for medical treatment. Surgery was invented in Egypt first, but we made many contributions to it. Bhaskara II gave modern definitions of sine and cosine. Along with Greece, India also set the foundations for modern medicine such as Charaka samhita and Sushruta samhita. S.N. Bose made contributions to quantum mechanics like Bose-Einstein condensate and is the father of quantum statistics. Boson particles are named after him. J.C. Bose made contributions to the development of wireless communication before Marconi. Meghnad Saha invented Saha ionization equation, which helps physicists determine chemical and physical properties of stars. Narinder Singh Kapany invented fiber optics. Sridharacharya invented the modern-day quadratic formula. Har Gobind Khorana synthesized the first artificial gene and demonstrated the role of nucleotides in nucleic acids in protein synthesis. He also played a role in cracking the genetic code. I reccomend you watch and learn more about him. He shaped modern genetics. Subsequent scientists refer to his work when talking about CRISPR gene editing. Venki Ramakrishnan's work on the atomic structure of ribosomes gives us a deeper understanding of how ribosomes manufacture proteins. Vinod Dham invented pentium chips. Ajay Bhatt invented the USB. Pingala invented the binary number system in 300 BCE. G.N. Ramachandran discovered the triple helical structure of collagen protein and invented the ramchandran plot, which is a tool used to visualize which angles can amino acids take in proteins. There are many more indian greats you should learn about. Examples: Srinivasa Ramanujan, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar, C.V. Raman, and Raj Reddy (He was one of the pioneers in AI along with McCarthy). We only got credit for some of our inventions. Sometimes the west will teach you about this, but will not tell that it's indian who achieved these. These brits committed horrific atrocities against us and brought artificial famines, which killed 100s of millions of Indians. They also r*ped indian women and sold them to s*x slavery and did the same with minors. This caused a spread of nasty stds. These disgusting people will find every way to justify their misdeeds. Plus, we had advanced ship building industries and textile industries. They destroyed. Also, look at our ancient architecture west. Far ahead of yours. Also, I do not know why these people call Greece and Rome western. Their culture is nothing close to western, they never had an ancient civilization of their own, so they appropriated Greek and Roman identity. If Greece and Rome did not exist, they would start calling Egypt, Babylon, and Sumeria western. Also, I forgot the fact that the english shot indian children with rifles.

Well I can't come I'm from W.B. and exams are near. We just cancelled a trip with our friend's family to Darjeeling. And I think you should bring someone else with you and please if you are not gonna spend too much time on travelling India then visit Kolkata rather than Delhi/Mumbai . Kolkata is way less polluted and it is considered the safest city for women in India ( And I'm not saying it, it is reported) . I think you should come later as India is suffering from covid ( that's another reason why I said to visit Kolkata for now because it has way less Corona cases then Maharashtra or Delhi ). Otherwise you will enjoy it .

I've never felt comfortable with the videos made by this Goswami woman. They remind me a lot of videos put out by negative propagandists from both sides of the Cold War. They also remind me of the videos put out by some people of various religions who want the worshipers of other religions to be seen in a negative light. It is this sort of divisiveness that leads to wars. It would not surprise me if this Goewami woman turns out to be employed by some foreign country to sow seeds of low key division between Indians and Westerners.

By the way, are you at all aware that there are tens millions (crores) of Americans, and a few publications, who are certain that giving NASA its funding is a waste of American tax dollars that should instead be going to social causes, like helping the millions of homeless jobless Americans? Is it possible that those same people also object to other countries spending portions of their tax money on projects in space? Stop hating what you don't know. Stop repeating the same old lies that you were told without first learning whether they are actual facts or simple divisive propagandist lies.
