Jesus thank GOD for this channel. Finally a youtuber that isn't just some dude shooting pretty girls every single frame. This was great!!!! Thanks!!!

I agree!!! ❤ there are a lot of KZbinrs who has a bad natural lighting shots, normal people might appreciate it because they use pretty girls as subject, but real pro photographers will always notice.

How do you choose a white poly board or the black one?
@KarolinaPran2 жыл бұрын
White one will raise shadows and black one will deepen them and make it look more contrasty, so depending on what I am looking for

These photos are extremely good. Clean and crisp. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it. I was just planning to get a 5DSR a few weeks ago. Would you recommend the 24-70 over the 50? Is there much difference?
@KarolinaPran11 ай бұрын
Thank you so much, so kind! I think 24-70mm is much more versatile, so for me personally that works much better. But everyone is different, so I can't really tell what would work better for you
@iamsomeone82667 ай бұрын
Okay. So what I gathered from the 1st to the 2nd layout was that. 2 has no umbrella. This made the light less even across the face. She also used a second light/strobe( but it had no light box around it. It makes it a lot harsher but it is facing away from the model anyways AND instead it faces the walls which bounces the light around, again making the light uneven. Model slightly more serious that the 1st shoot. 3rd. The strobe is close to the back wall/ pointing to it. And octobox is facing the model. This seriousness is possible bc/ the Otto box can reflect the the light from the background,from the strobe. While the tall blocks catch light bc/ the are both black.

Hi Karolina, great video and thanks so much for sharing! How do you find shooting with the 5DSR? I'm currently shooting jewellery and thought that with 50 megapixels it could be a great option to upgrade to. But then I worry about file size, and transferring images to clients, etc.....
@KarolinaPran3 жыл бұрын
For me it works great, but the files are bigger than other cameras I own. You’ll just have to make sure you have enough hardrives for back up :) but it’s nothing crazy honestly. Unless you shoot in very large amounts for every shoot

Awesome videos, love your content!! Ao when you switch to film on these shots, are you using the same light power and juat adjusting the aperture/shutter to make up for the higher iso. Like 400 on portra and your digitals with base 100/160 iso?
@KarolinaPran3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I am not an expert on shooting on film, so I am not sure what the best way is, I am guessing film photographers would say using a light meter, but I personally just set my digital cameras settings to (say Portra 400) Shutter 200, ISO 400, f8 and take a test shot and if it's too bring, I just bring the power of my strobes down until I like what I see in my digital camera and then just shoot with those settings on the film and hope for the best haha
@CarlosPerezFilms3 жыл бұрын
@@KarolinaPran thats how I would go about it too! Thanks for sharing! just curious on what other people do with film and flash, especially combining it with digital and your results are always so good.

Hi! Thank you so much for this videos, super down to earth and full of artistry in :) May I ask if you have a method for deciding about your flash power? Do you use a light meter, or any of the sort?

Hello - is there a reason you use broncolor over everything else or is it just a preference thing?
@KarolinaPran9 ай бұрын
Mainly, I wanted to buy something that will last me for a long time, but any brand will do a good job if you know how to use your gear :) I wouldn't stress over the brand, just use whatever is most affordable to you in the moment and gets you out there practicing
