Absolutely loving these videos. Fabulous! Ex Durbanite sending love from Louisiana. You definitely need to come perform at Festival Internationale de Louisiane in Lafayette. They will love you!!! 5 day festival every April which coincides with Jazz Festival in Nola. Lots of Saffers have performed here. The Cajuns and Creoles will love you!

Thanks Eileen, I appreciate your enthusiasm and feed back. The videos you are seeing were shot about ten years ago when I presented the Karoo Kitaar Blues project as a series of concerts. Most of the performers were already getting on at the time and musicians like Tokas Lodewyk and Dawid Loks have passed on. But I'm sure they would have loved us. There is so much similarity to cajun and vastrap music.
