Was really good. Even if some of these tips are not the most groundbreaking stuff in existence, this shows that you can do even more as a Widow. Also: thanks J000 for suggesting switching off characters based on certain criterias. There are way too many people out there who are way too stubborn and do not wanna play around OWs counterpick design. Hopefully this will increase the likelyhood of players realising they're getting stuffed and switch accordingly to the situation. And of course the visual presentation and your editing was on-point, KarQ. Many thanks for this video.

For the Orisa part, symmetra has actually been changed, so she isn’t support any more. Her new laser actually gets stronger over time if she holds it down, and she gains ammo from hitting shields, so she is a good choice against tanks with shields

Francisco Laurean well widow isnt good against some comps. I noticed aswell that whenever i play widow in to an orisa that its just really hard and i cant get value. I had this problem with rein aswell but not as bad as with orisa. In those situations playing widow is just not smart.

One that I've learned that's helped me, especially in 1v1 widow duels, is to set up venom mines on corners to protect your head while peeking. The mine will be destroyed instead of getting headshot, so can save your life while giving you an extra shot or two to get that first pick off the enemy team at round start for an easier push/defend.

I’m not sure this counts in Overwatch but in TF2 we have a thing called “second scopes” for Sniper v Sniper duels. What it means is that you strafe around and do everything not to get hit until the other Sniper takes his shot. If he misses them you quickly scope in and shoot them while they’re reloading. It makes fights a lot easier and takes a lot of pressure off a shot.

The thing with widow is, that you need to charge up your shot after you scoped in... If the enemy widow misses her shot, than she starts charging up... just like you, if you scope in. That means you gain no benefit from it (The charge is the percentage under the crosshair. The higher the percentage, the more damage you do. You need 75% to secure a kill on an enemy widow iirc). Additionally widow can shoot 10 scoped shots before she needs to reload. So yeah... unless you want to dodge 10 shots in a row, its better to just try to scope in and kill her before she kills you.
