Name one thing that you carry in your pack no matter where you're going or what you're going to be doing?

Fantastic gear bud, you are well prepared for any adventure 🔥🔥

Thank you! I'd rather carry it and not need it, than need it and not be carrying it. However, having said that, everything that I carry has a clear purpose

The humble brolly is a much underrated piece of outdoor gear, started carrying one after reading Nicolas Cranes ‘Clear Waters Rising’ as you say great for stops in both the sun and rain.

Absolutely! I've relied on mine in so many environments and in so many scenarios that it's difficult to recount them all. I've slept under it, used it against sun, rain, snow, to create a 'micro-climate' on the Arctic ice, as a makeshift sail for kayaks and Paddleboards and loads more

I absolutely love this Predator SF 30lt pack. I am using it this week for a UK overnighter. It has my hammock kit, 3x3 DD tarp, Alpkit Pipedream 400 sleeping bag, brew kit, Evernew Ti frying pan, "butterknife" 3 inch one with a scandi grind, I won't go on but it packs so much doesn't it?! Actually, it carries enough, not so much. I do have an additional 2x 5lt Stuffa pouches attached either side, the Lge SF Utility Pouch and 2x grenade pouches on the front molle too. It is a proper workhorse and it's mine.

Brilliant! One of the things that I enjoy about overnighters with a 30L pack is that I have to think a little more carefully about what I need to carry as opposed to what I want to carry... a valuable exercise. If you don't mind me asking, which stuff pouches are you using on the sides? I'm about to make a video on exactly that, so I'd be interested to find out. Thanks Just

@@ExplorerJust Indeed, you do have to take the bare essentials. Which I have grown to like doing. The more you know, the less you need to carry. I don’t mind telling you at all about the VIPER TACTICAL STUFFA POUCHES 😁 They are like a Tardis! I purchased mine from Amazon and have a set for my 45lt SF too. Sorry for the late reply. Just got back.

Hello, a bit of a left field question and if you do not know the answer perhaps you know somebody that does ! In 2013 the British MOD changed from Black to Brown boots, one issue for the Cold Wet Weather boot was branded Karrimor SF but was actually manufactured by Iturri a Spanish Group of companies. In the 2018 roll out, the Wet Weather boot was branded and manufactured again by Iturri, Both boots are very similar with some modifications on the 2018 boots Just wondering how it came about that the 2013 boot was branded Karrimor SF ? when my understanding is the Karrimor SF only supply Rucksacs etc . Just ordered the Sabre 30 and waiting delivery Take care out there

Hi @ontherunplmr2018, Iturri were granted a special license to be able to use the Karrimor SF branding for the MOD contract only. This was a 'one off' agreement. I hope you enjoy your Sabre 30. Your purchase is very much appreciated.👍

Thanks very much for your reply and clarification, yes looking forward to using the Sabre and will be reviewing on my You Tube channel Take care out there

Hi! The Karrimor SF team jumped in, but if I can help in any other way then please do get in touch.
@ontherunplmr1218 Жыл бұрын
Thanks, yes they have answered my question, just as a thought Karrimor SF could perhaps increase their revenue streams by introducing a range of Karrimor SF Branded boots outsourced to a quality manufacturer Just a thought Take care out there

is this ok for heavy weights mate , i want to put about 20 / 30 pounds in
@ExplorerJust7 күн бұрын
I've used mine as a 'day pack' on mountains with around 10 to 12 kilos and it's been fine. Although the pack can handle taking heavier weights, a lot of the comfort factor will come down to how well it fits you.
