I’m trying to learn more about what people find interesting about all those Anthuriums that look the same to me, I love weird looking plants, I don’t have a lot in my collection that look the same as another. Excited for you, I still don’t see it 🤷‍♀️

Honestly, same and I collect anthuriums. 😅 I know some people say that yes, they may look similar but if you look at the smallest of details they’re different enough to keep as part of their collection. I usually just sell off the ones I don’t like as much and keep the one I do 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think most of the differences cannot be shown on camera, because its difficult to capture.

Anthuriums don’t have any distinctive characteristics when they are young. You have to wait for them to be more mature to show unique features. Why I think people love them is because they are relatively easy to pollinate and make new hybrid that look different from the parent plant. Also people love the texture on them (velvet, bumpy, veiny). I used to be a Hoya and philodendron lover and now I can’t imagine dealing with them.

They get more unique features as they grow more mature. And it's fun to get seedlings because it's a bit of a lottery how you might get an incredible looking unique plant and growing them up from that size also acclimates them very well to your home conditions

I really like that last BF x VM. Its really nice. I've bought several (20+) KD seeds and I have around a 90% success rate with them. That's a good percentage, but every failure really hurts the pocketbook. 😏 Good luck with your new babies!
