Karthikeya 2 released in limited theatres in Telugu states too. I think it's for Nithin new movie and he is the son of a producer. Nikhil last few movies were flop excluding ekkadiki pothavu chinnavada . This is the main reason why Karthikeya 2 not getting more theatres . Karthikeya 2 is more powerful than Karthikeya in terms of Telugu dialogues and script.

This is not the first film about Sri krishna in Telugu. There was a movie “Devi putrudu” starring venkatesh. Underwater dwaraka was shown in that movie and vfx in a 20 yr old movie was also amazing. I agree that Karthikeya 2 could've explored deeper. But a part of why they couldn't was may be because of time and budgetary constraints. But this movie is a good enough beginning and deserves to make a LOT of money so as to give courage to other filmmakers who may have even better screenplay ideas for this genre of films. One more thing, at a time when Hawalawood is beginning to feel the heat, do not lower the flame.

Sri Krishna Bhagwatam ke kuch verses bhi le sakte thei Sanskrit to Hindi....Karthikeya ke sath ek aisa character jo beech beech mein Bhagwatam ke verses bhi quote karte tou bahut acha lgta or zabardast ho jaati yes definitely Sri Dwarka ke facts bhi dikhane chahiye thei phir chahe run time more than 3 hrs bhi hota.... Watched Karthikeya 2 , a neat little fiction explaining the existence of Lord Krishna , proving the so called mythology as a historical facts .. it is an experience that indulges you into the other world and takes you to a journey to experience what all happened thousands of years ago...In some acenes ,I thought Siddarth could have acted better, in a more matured way .Overall , I enjoyed it . I will give 4/5 *
