Tamasha and Street Dancer 3D were both made on cheaper budgets than Chandu Champion, grossed more domestically/worldwide than the latter, but were still labeled as flops by Bollywood Hungama and Box Office India. Even Box Office India and Pinkvilla labeled this film as a flop last week - so why is Zoom conducting this interview? These PR tricks don’t fool anyone, and only remove credibility of those involved (Kartik, Kabir). Just embarrassing stuff.

How is this film a box office success? It’s made 80-85 crores worldwide against a budget of 100-140 crores…… Taran Adarsh stopped tweeting collections after Day 3 because the outcome was there for everyone. The movie has performed well critically, but it’s not commercially successful. This kind of PR is disingenuous, false, and flat out stupid. Do better, Zoom.

The actual budget is 70-80cr but India net is only around 60cr by far. So it can be called a success but not profitable at all.
