Kartsport EBOP Matariki Night Race - Clubsport 120 A

Race videos from the first ever night race in history at Kartsport EBOP.
6 months of rebuild work went into this new kart and made its debut on the Friday afternoon. Having only 3 practice sessions and racing a brand new engine with little break-in time, the kart was setup well by the time racing had started. Recorded all 5 races from the weekend and compiled together into 30mins of Raket racing action.
Heat 1 - Track temp was starting to cool down quickly but constantly in a battle with P3 the entire race.
Heat 2 - With the dew becoming heavier, 4 warm up laps showed the track was slippery and our lap times weren't fast either.
Heat 3 - Probably the best race of the weekend, Nice dry track apart from the wet back straight with plenty of sunshine still around. About 4 of us constantly swapping positions in the first half of the race before my 'mistake' happened and caught up to the rear pack within just a few laps.
Heat 4 and 5 - Not much happened here, mainly in a race of my own with P1. With more cloud cover, the dew is nowhere near as heavy in the previous night, so track stayed a slightly warmer temperature.
