‘Heal’ is like some reverse curse technique stuff which is very very difficult to do, and probably very draining so I don’t think inumaki could handle that, and even if he could, the damage wouldn’t be worth the benefit

His domain should be an empty white space or a stadium that only effects him and his target. Within the domain his voice amplifies doing way more damage with less energy cost. For example his "blast away" speech would do so so much more damage. And "Don't move" would paralyze the target longer.

I always felt like he was better for area-of-effect type attacks and damaging groups of weaker enemies. I just can't foresee cursed speech being used to take down special grades. Slowing them down works, it's certainly a good addition to the team

His powers reminds me of allison from umbrella academy In the show the "rumor" power is usually used for mind control. During season 1 she is reluctant on using it. In season 2 its hinted at that she can straight up bend reality. (when she told people that she blew their minds which cause like a warping affect to do it) In the comics she staight up knows she can bend reality. In the show is serves more as the upgrade when she gains her confidence again cause she is currently afraid of them. She also has to always say " i heard a rumor [blank] " Also umbrella academy deals with time travel so the version of allison(12 days older) we see bend reality took a different path then the one in the main path so she still hasnt figuered it out yet. I assume season 3 will explore it further.

Yeah pretty much, cos "salmon" and the other words he says aren't commands. If they were commands then his ability would trigger.

Exactly. He uses them as a cursed technique for himself and as a defense mechanism for others. It's not that he's incapable of speech more than the words that he already utters like salmon and tuna, he can say all the other words like we do, but they'll trigger his ability so he doesn't. Salmon and tuna won't really do anything so they're safe to use 😅

The record thing will not work since it will not have the cursed energy imbued in it plus it also doesn't have the effect of the mark on his mouth, if you've read the prequel or just wait to watch the movie it is the mark passed down generations to generations from the inumaki clan. And I think the deaf one would most likely still work since it doesn't just include the ears but also affect the brain itself, it also gets complicated since on order for the brain to work it needs to hear something first so we don't actually know if it will work or not work.

the deaf one can work cause all the technique requires is curse energy and focus from the user. But the problem with using sign language is that it requires your hands which can be tied up by the enemy or your hands can be amputated if your enemy knows what your technique is.
