Karun Chandhok is one of only two Indians who made it to Formula 1 and currently races in Formula E with Mahindra Racing.
In 2010 he competed for Hispania Racing in Formula 1, before this he raced in GP2 for 2 seasons, winning races. Prior to his time in GP2, Karun won the Formula Asia championship in 2001 and was the inaugural Formula Asia V6 by Renault champion in 2006 with a record number of wins.
In this portrait Karun talks about his life in racing, moving from Asia to the UK, racing in the most competitive Formula 3 environment, his struggles to find budget and how Bernie helped along the way.
Karun also looks at the current Formula E series and talks about the outlook for electric open wheel racing.
