I visited Thiruvannamalai nearly 30 or 35 years ago, and bought this podi in Grama udyog. Then I never found it anywhere else. I made this today and it tasted superb, it brought back my memory and the taste of it. I’ll making this from now onwards. Thanks once again sister.

Podi looks so tempting to immediately have it Amma. Amma for storing curry leaves put the leaves along with the stem in a glass jar and keep it in the fridge. Every 2 or 3 days once you can remove the leaves from the jar and wipe the moisture inside the jar and again put the leaves back. I'm doing this for more than few months and it's staying fresh for nearly a month. I saw this tip in Facebook.

Mam high iron content podi. Very good for children. If curry leaves after drying we keep it in micro oven for a minute or two it will become very crispy .At the same time colour remains same. If it is ground along with other ingredients we get a nice green colour podi. I normally make this way to retain the colour
