I had a bad habit if taking my wife for granted until I almost lost her. Then I began to beg and plead for her to give me another chance. once I heard this song years ago I realized that she is not only my wife but definitely ny superwoman that holds this marriage and my life together and I love her more for having the strength and patience to continue to love me .......

LOVE LOVE LOVE this song...When I was in my 20's (Even younger-sometimes older) I 'tried' so hard to please men/others but I finally realized that I had to be happy first !!! We are not all blessed to be raised w/ the best role models but we can't use that 'crutch' forever...It took a long time for me to know that I deserved respect & the love of good people...I'm not preaching-Just teaching...

Timeless song. The part where she says "I've got my pride, I will not cry, but it's making me weak" was powerful. Her voice got the emotions spot on right there. Can't even lie, that almost made a tear fall 😂

And, "I'm the kind of girl that can treat you so sweet, but you've got to realize that you gotta be sweeter to me!" I love that part.

kgoldmon and the "Ooh baby. Look into the corners of your mind. I'll always be there for you, through good and bad times. But I can't be that superwoman that you want me to be. I'll give my everlasting love if you return love to me" part

Kel0390 Tear ducts, do all people have those? Weakness is a strength maybe, strength is a weakness maybe or not, or neither of the absence or visibility of those mean anything at all, except to whoever however those things appear or not to whatever situation or person/people.

Being married I now understand what my momma was going through with my pops...it hurts when you do everything you possibly to make the other happy but when yoare being taken for granted it can turn a good woman cold...and thats bad for everybody
@Playfulcook8 жыл бұрын
I stumbled this song by accident. And as I read the lyrics, the more I realized the importance of treating a woman with utmost respect. Because I know that most men will take advantage of the kindness a woman can give. I was one them. But through the passing of time, I gathered enough wisdom to remedy and what I've done. The simple things that a woman does just to please her man can sometimes be so insignificant to a man, like rushing home to cook dinner for him before he gets home and keep it warm for him. The simplest gesture can means so much to a woman, but may not mean so much to a man anymore at certain stage of the relationship. Do correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that sacrifice is an equal act between a man and a woman. A relationship will never be perfect, but if both can see, feel and think of each other''s needs which is belonging, affection and love, I believe a relationship can withstand the test of time.

I believe all men shud listen to this beautiful ballad. She's tell u wat a woman go thru tryn to love n care for her man n keep gettn hurt m taken for granted. So in 2018 we all need to honor our women for who they are n the hard work they put in dealin wit the home, children and us (men) especially. She not our Superwoman shes our Queen. Start treating them as such...
