Karyn and I used to date 2 guys that were in a Bay Area band. Mine played the keyboard, hers played the drums. This was back in the mid eighties. She invited me to come and hear her sing with jazz musician Jeff Lorber in San Francisco when she started to become known. Her career blew up after that and she moved to LA and I never heard from her again. Hope she is doing well.
