I'm obsessed with your Estie collection! I just bought my 5th - the Jurassic. It's a gorgeous green that I would not be surprised to see in your collection in the future 🤣 I know you share my love of green!

The large item is a washable “dishcloth”. So you can practice your cursive, wash it with dish soap, dry and use again! Great review!

I love the Esterbrook Pens but they are out of my range (that’s okay, I like the pens I have.) I saw the writing example and was flashed back to grade school with those letters in cursive and print on a green background (imitating a chalkboard) lining the upper wall of the room so we always had it to reference when writing (and remembering those ‘newspaper’ type writing notebooks to teach you cursive and print handwriting in the US in the 70s and 80s.) I was an exchange student to France in high school and was enamored with their standard cursive handwriting (along with the fountain pens, graph paper, and other cool stationery) and adopted it as my own. They even make books to help you with the letters, it’s much more straight up and down, and is perfect for a cursive/italic stub nib (which I love.) Those notebooks are called Seyes French printed (doh! You’re from Canada and your kids probably learn French at school, so this is all maybe familiar) and that paper has a really interesting line/graph structure to help learn the French cursive (but could also be used to help with learning any type of new hand lettering!) What a fun little gift! Oh! I have cartridges and I poke the top and use a syringe to pull out the ink and put it in a tester bottle, then wash out the cartridge. That way, I can use that ink in other pens (I have one Kaweco Sport without the converter, and you can reuse the cartridges by filling them back up with the syringe with whatever ink you want…same with my Preppies that I don’t want to eyedropper) so that is a good way to use them (and reuse them) if you get them as a present or similar.

That’s a Swedish dishcloth, the thick thing with letters on it. It becomes soft when you wet it. You can wash it in the washing machine, boil it, run it through the dishwasher. It has so many uses.

@@KarynaLovesToPlanIn my household they are mostly used in the kitchen to wipe down counters and the kitchen table. I have used them for paper making to suck up extra water, to wipe my paintbrushes, both when redecorating and painting with watercolour. They can hold a ton of liquid.

I’d rather a discount on the pens! So I can get more Esterbrook pens!
