Overeem is in K-1 right now, Sheilds left his title behind, Co-promotion with M-1 Global. These are all good reasons in how Scott Coker does business, it's good for everyone.

what this tells me is that hes fighting just for money. once you have that mentality for martial arts, eventually when something huge is on the line, he will get beat. i would be happy getting paid 30,000 dollars a fight, even if i was in diaz position. and i heard when he fought KJ he got paid 50 000 dollars, now after he beat daley, he got 175 000 dollars. he should stop complaining. it will get the best of him one day.

And one more thing basing a fighter off old fights from their past and comparing them to who they are today is the biggest cardinal sin u can commit because people said that KJ Noons was goin to beat Nick the sameway he did back in 2007 but it was a whole different story and Nick fought Karo Parisyan and got beat by him in 2004, thats almost 7 years ago and Nick lost Diego in 2005 which was 5 almost 6 years ago how can u compare them to his ability today i bet he could beat they're asses today.

He'd have to make a serious argument most likely that there are no challengers for his title in order to get out of his deal. Woodley could be a new challenger, and Paul Daley will probably get a shot if he beats Scott Smith.

Obviously they have the other fighters on the payroll, marketing and advertising, analysts, lawyers, doctors, maintenance for the buildings, and so on.
