At isa sa tumanim sa aking puso't isipan ay ang sinabi mo po na " HABAAN NATIN ANG ATING PASENSYA SA MGA BAGAY NA HINDI NATIN KONTROLADO". I definitely agree with the 3 points that you have discussed in your insightful video, Ma'am. Thus, I would like to give emphasis on the importance of a positive teacher-learner relationship. Watching the video made me look back years ago and thought of my favorite teacher. I realized that she was special to me because she was the teacher who helped me build my self-esteem and showed me that I am able and worthy of good things. Indeed, teacher-learner relationship is not just enclosed within the four walls of our classroom, but it can be life changing and impactful especially to our young learners. One of the common mistakes that us teachers do is that we often focus on improving our teacher and parent relationship, but student engagement is just as essential. One TED talk I've watched during college that was very remarkable to me was the one entitled, "Every kid needs a champion". The speaker was Rita Pierson, a teacher for 40 years. She shares her story back then when her colleague said that she wasn't paid to like her students. Rita answered, "Kids don't learn from people they don't like." I couldn't agree more on what she said because it is now time to genuinely connect with our students on a real, human, and personal level if we really want them to be self-motivated and believe in themselves too.

good evening. Ngayon ko pa lang po napanood maam. Thanks for additional knowledge na inyo pong naibahagi. May dagdag kaalaman na naman akong maitatabi, lalong lalo na ang kahalagahan ng parent-teacher relationship. setting goals,expectations and communication ay sobrang mahalaga po talaga para ma achieve ang common objectives which is to learn the learners.
