Our next destination after Nainital to explore village life Kasar, which is a small hill station in the District Almora Uttarakhand.
We started our journey from first ever home stay in Kasar named Mehra Home Stay, and then, we visited Kasar Devi Mandir, one of the 3 places in the world with highest magnetic pull, that comes under Van Allen Belt.
The other places with magnetic fields providing cosmic energy are UK's Stonhenge and Peru's Machu Pichu.
It makes this place one of the best places in India for meditation and self-realization purposes. Swami Vivekanand also visited this place and meditated under a rock at this place.
Ample parking space is available for the private vehicles near the kasar devi mandir almora.
After visiting the temple, we enjoyed the traditional #uttarakhandtourism made from home grown vegetables at our home stay.
We also visited their garden in which lots of vegetables and fruits have been organically grown by the landlord.
We had taken one room for two people with a rent of Rs. 2000/ night. Though, the prices of the room vary as per the demand of the visitors ranging from Rs.800 to Rs.3000/ night.
There are also many other home stays options available at Kasar as per your budget and need.

I always thought Himachal Pradesh to be the only getaway station with full of temples, but as I am closely following the Uttarakhand series of India to Bharat, it has really changed my mind set from all angles. Kasar coverage is a proof as I never knew Swami Vivekanand ji whom I admire the most in my life had called this place as his dream place to spend his life. I wish to visit this sacred place full of beautiful greenery, Himalayas and above all, peace.
